The Cressington Engineered Natural Oak flooring has a natural oak appearance, with a brushed and lacquered finish that highlights the grain while adding a protective surface layer.
Each board measures 150mm (15cm) in width, which can help create a more open and spacious look, while the 18mm thickness includes a 4mm solid oak wear layer. This wear layer allows the floor to be sanded and refinished up to three times, although this is typically not required for the first 10–15 years in most domestic environments.
The engineered construction helps reduce movement caused by changes in temperature and humidity, making it suitable for most rooms in the home, including conservatories. It is not suitable for bathrooms. This flooring can also be used with water-based underfloor heating systems.
