The Milano Elite Engineered Grey Oak flooring features cool grey tones combined with a distressed, textured surface and an oiled finish that enhances the natural grain and character of the wood.
Each board measures 220mm (22cm) in width, making it a wide plank option that can help open up larger spaces. The 15mm thickness includes a 4mm solid oak wear layer, allowing the floor to be sanded and refinished up to three times, although this is typically not required for the first 10–15 years in most homes.
Engineered construction helps reduce movement caused by temperature and humidity changes, making it suitable for most rooms in the home, including conservatories. It is not suitable for bathrooms and can be installed over water-based underfloor heating systems.

This flooring is usually fitted as a floating floor with a 3mm underlay beneath, helping with moisture protection, sound reduction, and insulation. A 4mm compressed rubber underlay is suitable for use with underfloor heating.
As this is an oiled product, care should be taken with spillages. Each pack may include starter boards to help stagger your layout.
When ordering, allow 10% extra for wastage and cut-offs, plus an additional 5% for grading variation.

- Each board has a 4mm layer of wood veneer that enables you to sand down and refinish the surface up to three times.
- Engineered wood flooring like this is very resilient to temperature and humidity changes, making it suitable for most rooms, including conservatories. The only exception is the bathroom.
- Due to the stability of our engineered flooring products laying the flooring in rooms heated with water based underfloor heating is not a problem. Our 4mm Compressed Rubber Underlay is suitable for water based underfloor heating.
- Each board is manufactured with a tongue and groove profile, so each board can simply be glued together.
- This engineered oak is typically installed as a floating floor with a 3mm underlay on the subfloor, providing protection from dampness and serving as a sound barrier and insulator.
- This product has a mixed grade, so it will contain some knots, which is typical for natural wood.
- Please note, an oiled finish isn't impermeable and might not be ideal for spill-prone areas

- Please keep in mind that the industry standard includes 10% for wastage and cut-offs, and 5% for visual grading. Make sure to factor this into your calculations when ordering.
