What Is Click Lok LVT Flooring?

Luxury Vinyl Tiles or LVT Flooring is a hard-wearing, synthetic floor, usually made of multiple layers of compressed PVC. During manufacture, LVT flooring is coated with clear vinyl for added protection, creating a durable, water-resistant, rigid tile that’s easy to cut and fit. This makes our Click Lok vinyl tiles suitable to be placed in any room of the house, including bathrooms.

Does Click Lok LVT Flooring Scratch Easily?

Our Click Lok vinyl flooring is surprisingly hardy and much more durable than laminate flooring therefore will cope well in most family homes. However, our SPC vinyl options are more durable than our WPC vinyl floors, particularly against dents and scratches. Therefore, if durability is your main concern, you will want to take a look at our SPC vinyl flooring options.

Yes, our entire LVT range is 100% waterproof, including our Click Lok vinyl tiles.

How Long Does Click Lok LVT Flooring Need To Acclimatise?

Our LVT floors are much less susceptible to temperature changes because they are not a solid wood product. However, your flooring will still need some time to acclimatise to its new home. To do this, you must lay your flooring flat on the floor of the room where it will be installed.

For our Click Lok vinyl tiles, we recommend that you do this a minimum of 48 hours before proceeding to installation. This will allow enough time for your floor to adjust to the temperature and humidity conditions of your home.

Embossed

Our embossed LVT floors are the closest you can get to a wood or stone floor, without the hefty price tag that comes with them. The texture produced during the embossing process will follow the pattern in the design image. This makes it incredibly difficult to tell that it has been purposely produced that way, regardless of the style you choose.

Textured

All of our Click Lok LVT is textured to some degree to make it feel and look authentic. Whilst not as apparent as our embossed range, you’ll find that our textured floors are even less expensive.

Stone Embossed

The beauty of LVT floors is that they are not limited in terms of appearance. Whether you’re looking for stone or wood, we have a range of different Click Lok LVT options available. Board Thickness

Generally speaking, board thickness is a case of personal preference, however, thicker boards do tend to be more hard-wearing and provide a slightly improved sound reduction performance. As well as this, thicker boards are usually more suited to higher traffic areas, where they can withstand greater use.
