Embossed
Our embossed laminate floors have been ‘stamped’ to give the floor a more authentic texture. The texture produced during the embossing process will follow the pattern in the design image. This makes it incredibly difficult to tell that it has been purposely produced that way. However, it looks particularly good with our natural laminate flooring range.
Handscraped
If you really want to trick people into believing that your natural laminate wood floors are real hardwood floors, then you’ll want to consider a handscraped finish. Our handscraped laminate floors have been expertly finished to give your flooring an authentic wood texture and give the impression of a rustic solid wood floor. The handscraped texture complements the knots and grains within our natural laminates perfectly to give each board an individual texture and appearance.
Rustic
Our rustic laminates are made by adding light wear to the surface of the boards, such as bumps and scrapes, to create an established, worn look. This creates the illusion of flooring that has been laid for years. This type of finish is ideal for those that want a little more character to their natural laminate flooring, with additional knots and grains to give the appearance of solid wood flooring, without the cost.
Smooth
Smooth laminate is the original laminate flooring finish with a smooth, sleek surface that you would expect to feel. Although these floors still mimic wood closely in appearance, their overall texture will not feel like a real wood floor.
Stone Effect
One of the major benefits of laminate floors being printed (other than the price, easy maintenance, and installation) is that they are not limited by design. The printed layer can be made to look like anything, which means you can have a ‘stone floor’ without paying the price for one.
Wood Grain
As flooring experts, we often find that our wood effect laminates are the most popular, with more people opting for a budget-friendly option to solid wood flooring. Whether textured, embossed, or smooth, our natural laminate wood flooring looks particularly impressive. If you want flooring that can mimic solid wood whilst also remaining inexpensive to buy or install, then our wood grain laminates will be ideal.
Textured
All of our laminate floors, apart from the smooth range, are textured to some degree to make them feel and look authentic.
Silk
If you want a smooth laminate floor but still want a more natural and authentic finish, then take a look at our silk range. Our silk finishes are not quite matt, but they’re not glossy or shiny either like our smooth floors. Instead, they reflect under different lighting in the same way that silk does. Most customers find this provides the best of both worlds as it’s visually appealing but doesn’t highlight any imperfections in the way that glossy finishes would.
Silk Matt
Deciding whether you want silk or matt flooring can be a tough decision, and for those that are indecisive, our silk matt finish provides the perfect answer. Thanks to the mixture of silk and matt, this flooring finish is ideal for hiding any scuffs or scratches, particularly when paired with one of our more textured laminates.
Extra Matt
Extra matt finishes are practically invisible, meaning you won’t be able to tell that a finish has been applied. This allows for your natural laminate wood floors to show off their ‘natural’ beauty whilst still hiding any imperfections until you get the chance to repair them. This is ideal for anyone with pets or children where damage is likely to occur at some point, no matter how durable the floor is.
Matt
Without a finish applied, solid wood floors would not reflect at all under lighting. If you’re hoping to mimic this with your natural laminate flooring, then you’ll want to opt for a matt finish that stops lights from bouncing off the surface of your floor. This will also help massively with any imperfections, where lighting would normally highlight damage such as scuffs or scrapes. Whilst not as matt as our extra matt range, it’s still a great choice for those wanting a more natural and rustic look to their flooring, rather than a sleek and contemporary finish like our smooth laminates.
Silverfrost
Apart from handscraped, silverfrost is probably one of our most unique flooring finishes. It provides beautiful silver tones and hues throughout the flooring, giving a frost-like appearance.
