Sawbury Engineered Lacquered Oak 70mm x 18/4mm Parquet Wood Flooring
70mm (7cm) wide lacquered Oak, with a total thickness of 18mm (1.8cm), of which 4mm is a wear layer. The 4mm wear layer means the floor can be sanded down upto 3 times. However, this shouldn’t be necessary for 10-15 years. The grade of the product is mixed, meaning it will have some knots, as is common with oak products. The installation system is tongue and groove which means each board can be simply glued together.

- Each board has a 4mm layer of wood veneer that enables you to sand down and refinish the surface up to three times.
- Engineered wood flooring like this is very resilient to temperature and humidity changes, making it suitable for most rooms, including conservatories. The only exception is the bathroom.
- This product uses a tongue and groove system, typically installed by gluing the planks together and fixing them to the sub-floor with the glue down method.
- This product has a mixed grade, so it will contain some knots, which is typical for natural wood.
- Please keep in mind that the industry standard includes 10% for wastage and cut-offs, and 5% for visual grading. Make sure to factor this into your calculations when ordering.
